My condolences to all of Joan’s family. What an amazing, interesting, lovely woman Joan was. Joan’s sense of humour had me laughing often durning our visits. Joan was more then a client to me she quickly became a true friend whom I cared greatly for. I looked very forward to seeing her weekly and hearing about her family, bingo and coffee with her friends. I do not have to tell you how special Joan was but she was very special and adored her family and was very proud of all of them. Condolence from Joan O’Brien-Curtin (Chaney) on December 6th, 2012 5:55 pm

I was sad when I read about Joan’s death. I’m sure she will be greatly missed by all of you but as well by many who had the privilege of knowing her. She was a terrific lady with many altrustic qualities. I’ve always had lots of fond memories from when we use to work together at the restaurant back in the 60’s and early 70’s. She treated me as her own and I never got off the hook with anything. And, talk about an admirable cook! She was the best.
We can all look back at some great memories and I will prayer for a peaceful 2013 for each of you.
Joan
