Condolence from Marilyn Campbell on February 9th, 2011 12:49 am

Hi, you guys,
The movies have been playing over and over in my head – Aunt Joan checking the net (salmon in jacket), sitting at the cottage table with the Cobequid Bay breeze drifting in and a cuppa tea in hand, Aunt Joan by three generations of outdoor fireplaces, getting the cottage moved (putting a band-aid on a certain tree), cutting brush at the new lot, poking the fire in Tom’s fire pit, and, mostly Aunt Joan chuckling away at something we or the kids did. Her dry wit was top of the line. I miss her already.

We are so sorry to hear about your mum’s passing.
You know that I am always a phone call away and a car ride away when you need an ear or an extra hug.
I have very fond memories of your mum, when you lived on Spring St. We used to sit at the coffee table having a cup, (all three of us), while your mum would crack her sharp wit. It always put a smile on my face and she always made me feel so welcome.
