Peacefully at Matthews House Hospice, Alliston on Saturday, February 28, 2015, Joan Black, Tottenham, in her 80th year, beloved wife of the late Charles Black Jr. Loving mother of Joan and her husband Norbert Farley. Devoted grandmother of Evan Farley.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Monday and Tuesday 4 – 8 o’clock and on Wednesday morning, March 4 from 10 o’clock until time of funeral service in the chapel at 11 o’clock.
Interment Assumption Cemetery, Mississauga.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to Matthews House Residential Hospice, 21 Kingsmere Crescent, Alliston L9R 0K7.

My heart goes out to you at this time, cousin Joanie and family, I have many fond childhood memories of going to “Auntie Joanies and Uncle Chucks” house for visits with my dad and mom.You are in our thoughts and prayers

Fondly remembered and sadly missed. Joan and I were friends for many years. I can still see her waving to me across Queen street while walking back from the mall.
