Peacefully, with her family by her side, at Wellington Terrace, Fergus, on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, Jill Wilson, at the age of 86. Beloved best friend of Clive Reese (deceased). Loving mother of Christine, Timothy (Jane), Martha, and Laura (Doug). Cherished Nana of Sarah (Jason), Christopher ( Tara), Nicole, Harmony, Katie, and Jess. Proud great-grandmother of Zoey, Dayna, Madison, Liam, Jackson, Michael, Maggie, and Jesse. Predeceased by her parents Rachel and W.J. Stanley Gott. Dear sister of William (deceased), Margaret (deceased), Edward, Beverly, James (deceased). Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.
Jill will always be remembered for her fun personality. Her time with family and creating lasting memories was so important to her.
Honouring Jill’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the staff at Wellington Terrace for their exceptional care.

Growing up in Caledon East, our lives overlapped many times. My Mom did housework for Jill and when my sister was born, she was called Jill. Jill was my CGIT leader. As years went by and both of us moved northward, she became my boss and mentor at Kids ‘N Us for years. She was such a kind caring person and a positive part of my life. My sincerest condolences to your family on the loss in of your Mom. I will always remember her smile and welcoming presence. Jill was always involved in our Sunday school and our community.

Sincere condolences to the family of Jill. I did not know Jill that well or for very long but I found her to be a very sweet lady. I used to pick up Betty Ward and Jill and take them to the UCW meeting held at Caledon East United Church once a month. Sometimes she did not feel well enough to attend and she was very good to call me and advise me she was not coming. I have missed seeing her since she moved to Fergus. She will be missed by her wonderful family.
