We were very grateful for Jane’s participation in both Operation Red Nose and HomeJames Caledon from its origination 11 years ago. Jane not only won the most nights driven Designated Driver award year after year, and also wore the Mascot costumes to many events throughout the years. She was a selfless person who was ready and willing to serve her community in many ways, such as Citizen’s on Patrol and as a Restorative Justice Councillor. Jane was a hero and she will always be remembered.

Condolence from Diane Sawyer on January 3rd, 2019 7:07 pm

I met Jane several years ago in a program called Caledon Citizens on Patrol, a neighborhood watch kind of program. Then during the Christmas season, Caledon started a designated drive home program called “Operation Red Nose”, which eventually developed into the “Home James” program we have today. She was such a story teller, and made us laugh. You will be sorely missed, Dear Jane. Condolences to her family and friends far and wide. Diane Sawyer.

Jane was an easy going and fun loving neighbour starting out on Whitehead Crescent in Bolton. I enjoyed watching all of her kids grow up while attending Ellwood Memorial P.S. when her and Peter lived on Ridge Road. Jane eagerly volunteered for many community activities. She will be missed and we send our condolences to Peter, John, Carolyn,
Melanie, Amanda and Mike.

Condolence from Anton Tolstoy on January 4th, 2019 11:54 am

My heart and mind share in the outpouring of love and memories that Jane, or Mrs. Clarke as I knew her, gave to this world.
Growing up in Bolton with my friend Michael and his amazing sisters, Jane always welcomed me into her home as one of her own. She was a second parent to many of us and we are forever indebted for her kindness. I regret I didn’t get to reconnect with her as a man to tell her as much, but I pass that deep appreciation to her incredible family.
To her brilliant and beautiful children who will carry the pillars of family and community into the next generation, thank you Jane.

Condolence from Linda fess on January 5th, 2019 10:37 am

I am so very sad for all of you. She was a great lady thru and thru. Wonderful morals, generous and loved her children and grandchildren to the core. Her family and friends meant the world to her. So did her love of royalty. Lol and animals of course we all know that.
We were to get together this month and catch up and talk as we did many times over many nights when she was here with all of us fesses.

I will always regret our meeting not happening, but we will talk in my dreams.
Until we meet again dutchess Jane, soar with the angels and superman.
LOVE
Linda fess and family
