Hello Mr and Mrs Hunter, my name is Mike I worked with Jamie at Omori North America in Bolton. I’m so sad to hear of Jamie’s passing. Jamie was an amazing guy and I had the great pleasure of knowing him and working with him, I want to offer my deepest condolences and also on behalf of everyone at Omori who knew Jamie as the beautiful person he was. He was so caring for others. Despite our age difference I had an instant connection with Jamie and we bonded over many common interests, I truly cherish those times. I kept in touch with Jamie over the years and was so happy to see that he was so happy working with animals. His love for his family and his pets really stood out. I remember sharing many laughs with Jamie, he had such a great sense of humor and I still hold so many fond memories of the times we spent together, I speak for everyone at Omori who knew Jamie, our thoughts and prayers are with you and sharing our sincere sympathies and condolences.

Dear Doug and Sue. I had the pleasure of working with Jamie for the past few weeks here at Albion Hills Conservation Area. He seemed so happy to be working with like minded staff and enjoying the outdoor work that we provide. He seemed so happy to be at work and help out wherever he could. It was only a few short weeks and the entire team was looking forward to spending much more time getting to know him. My condolences to you and your family and we will always remember the times he enriched our days here at the park.

Sincerely, Jay Clark – Albion Hills Supervisor and the whole team.

Condolence from Hayden Drury on May 30th, 2026 1:05 pm

My Dear Friends,
Doug, Sue, Patti, Gray & Ava,

Jamie was a wonder of humanity, the world is a darker place for his passing. I cannot think of a time where he wasn’t the light in the room – his laughter was infectious, his heart the biggest… he was one of the most unique and caring souls I’ve met and I wish I could remember the first time I had met him but, that’s just how Jamie was, it was almost as if you’d known him your entire life… and sure enough, even if it had been months or years since talking to him last, he would pick up a conversation with you like it was yesterday. No awkward hellos, no anxious silence – just a hearty “Oh hey, bud!” and a beaming smile because he was genuinely happy to see you… the world needs more people like Jamie.

They say all dogs go to heaven. Well, if that’s true, Jamie’s heaven wouldn’t be anything but… he’s running around as free as can be and if he’s happy there, that’s all I can wish for him now.

All of you are in our thoughts and prayers, sending love, hugs and condolences from afar,

Hayden & the Drury Family

Condolence from Doug Maskell on May 30th, 2026 8:31 pm

Dear Mr and Mrs Hunter and Family:

I cannot express how saddened I was to hear of the passing of your son and brother. Jamie.

My interactions with Jamie in my role as guidance counsellor and teacher at Humberview Secondary School were always positive and respectful.

As Town Councillor for the Caledon East area, I had a number of occasions to see Jamie during his time working for the Town of Caledon and I was always impressed by his work ethic and his contributions to his team.

My family and your Town of Caledon family want you to know that you are in our hearts and our prayers.

Doug Maskell

Condolence from Samantha Pellarin on May 31st, 2026 7:37 am

Dear Sue, Doug, and Pattie,
I am at a loss for words and completely heartbroken to hear of the loss of your son. Growing up with him, I shared so many memories that I will forever hold close to my heart. It is difficult to believe that someone who was such a part of my childhood is gone.
No parent should ever have to experience the pain of losing a child, and my heart aches for each of you. I cannot begin to imagine the depth of your sorrow, but please know that you are surrounded by so many people who care about you and are grieving alongside you. Your son was loved by many, and the impact he had on the lives of those around him will never be forgotten.
As I think back on the years we spent growing up together, I am reminded of the laughter, the friendships, and the memories that helped shape so many of us. Those memories are a gift that I will always treasure. While words feel so inadequate at a time like this, I hope you can find some comfort in knowing how deeply he was loved and how many lives he touched.
Please accept my most sincere and heartfelt condolences. My thoughts and prayers are with you today and in the difficult days, weeks, and months ahead. May you find strength in one another, comfort in the love of family and friends, and peace in the beautiful memories you shared with him.
With all my love and deepest sympathy,
Samantha, Richard, and Family

Even though I didn’t know him too much I do know that his smile would light up the darkest room and he had a heart of gold, especially when it came to his love of animals.
