James is survived by his wife Isabelle and children, Susan and Al; Ron and Cheryl; Rick and Cheryl; Sonny and Cathy; Christina and David; 17 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren. An avid sports fan, James always looked forward to watching his grandchildren play hockey and lacrosse, and supported his Toronto Maple Leafs through thick and thin (Go Leafs Go!).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Parkinson Society of Canada www.parkinson.ca. Condolences for the family may be offered at www.EganFuneralHome.com
To Isabelle and children,
I always enjoyed talking to Jim. He always had a twinkle in his eye as he gave me his view on the World. Jim told it like it was. He was a man of his word and very proud of his family. He will be missed.

We would like to express our sympathy in the loss of your husband, Isabelle and father to your children, especially Ron who worked with Fred at a Ford dealership in Toronto many years ago.
Dear Christina.
We are thinking of you and your family in this time of grief and share in your sadness. We hope time will heal the pain you’re feeling now.
Luis and Rocio
Our sympathy to the family on your loss. We have good memories of your dad/grandfather pacing the benches of many arenes as his grandchildren played hockey and lacrosse. He was always willing to stop and say a few words but gained too much excitement and enjoyment from viewing from the different vantage points of the arenas. His presence will be missed.
So sorry to hear about the passing of Mr. Sampson, I know he loved watching his sports at the arena, a great supporter of the kids. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Isabelle and your family
Our condolences to the Sampson family.
