My heart was shattered into a million little pieces when I heard that my dearest friend Jimmy passed away. From the first moment I met him and all of you, we became like family. He was a like a brother to me. We shared so many laughs and so many deep conversations. There was a connection between all of us, that is rarely found in this world. I am so grateful that I had it. Not everyone is so lucky in this world to have a friend like Jim and I feel so blessed to have known him.
Although no words will help ease the pain you are all feeling right now and tough days lay ahead, know that you are surrounded by so many people who loved Jim and we will carry his memory with us forever.

I met and attended school with Frank starting Oct 15th 1970. We soon became inseparable as best friends, so of course that meant seeing Jimmy on a daily basis. Frank and I being older would tease and prank Jimmy often. But when we entered our late teens and early adulthood, the tables quickly turned.
Jimmy’s intelligence and quick wit soon became a force to be reckoned with. He would put us in our places every time and I loved him all the more for it. He was a great guy and always a lot of fun to be with. I was heartbroken to hear the news and my prayers are for Josephine and the children, that they may in a short time have less grief than they have today.
