We were sorry to read of the passing of Don. In the late 1950’s Don and family were important newcomers to our small town of barely 2000. They established their business in downtown Bolton where Tim Hortons is to-day. As time passed, and with a fantastic memory, Don was able to learn and remember every detail about every car made. He enjoyed talking and passing on this information to any interested person. Those years will live on in our memories. Ken and I wish to express our sincere condolences to Carole and family.

I have wonderful memories of Don and all our conversations he was a very knowledgeable man. We would have conversations about everything and he would listen to my worries about raising my children he was always my go to when i needed someone to talk to as my family were all overseas. Once he moved from his garage i didn’t get to see him as often i wish i had made more of a effort. I hope his family with find comfort in knowing he touched many peoples lives and was a wonderful friend to them as well. Rest in peace Don love from Linda

Our good neighbor. Don and I often exchanged pleasant greetings during his frequent walks on King street in the last few years of his life. Now he’s in God’s loving embrace. May he rest in peace!

Dear Carole, Harold, Chuck and family.
My deepest condolences to the passing of Don. I’ll always remember his boisterous laugh and his knowledge of cars.
My favourite memory of Don was one time I had run into him in Zehrs and had a cart full of groceries. I was almost finished when he approached me and asked about a new industrial paint. An hour later he broke out in laughter informing me that I had a puddle of melted ice cream under my cart and suggested that I replace all the frozen food that I had.
He was a character and will be missed.
