I worked with Jamie at Yellow Pages for quite a few years, and will always remember Jamie as a very happy go lucky guy , he loved life and lived it to the fullest. I visited him the day before he died and even though he was in rough shape , he smiled when I mentioned the three Amegos , as he was one of the three.

Words cannot begin to say the sadness we feel. I (DONNA) have known Jamie since he was 12 and he babysat for me. Bob and I have known Al and Gloria for such long time and we were so saddened by Al’s passing but trust that father and son are fishing together!

It was a privilege to call Jamie our friend, work with him and enjoy him & his family. It was always fun, eventful and memorable to spend time together – from the comradery in the Yellow Pages west office, Oktoberfests @ the Concordia Club, Blueberry Island on Kennisis Lake, out of towners with the YP gang and so much more!

To his family that we had the privilege of knowing, and Jamie’s loved ones that we didn’t, our deepest sympathies are with you for losing this lovely man far too early in his life. It was shocking and heartfelt to find out about his illness. We were routing for his positive, eager and passionate attitude to win the challenge of this terrible disease and we felt the great tragedy when we learned that our Hartski lost this battle. He will be quite fondly remembered always by our family.

Unfortunately for us we haven’t known Jamie for a long time. What we do know is that he was a great guy and very much loved. You could see the love in his eyes for Kyle and Blake. You could also see how much he loved his family and how they loved him..He was taken too soon. Rest in peace Jamie.

Growing up you were one of my oldest brothers best friend, one of the “Three Amigo’s” sadly now there is only one. When I was 13, I had a crush on you, after all we shared the same initials JH and had the same birthday month, October. You walked into our home always with a smile and had this kind debonaire about you. Many people had nicknames for you, I believe my mother called you “Eddie” Haskell. To me you were just plain Jamie. We all go thru tough times in our lives but you have left many a foot print in our hearts, that can not be erased over time. Have a beer with those that we miss up there

Jamie was always generous! I have great memories of us driving up to the cottage together and spending Friday nights with the fun and fabulous Hart family.

I have many memories from Kennisis Lake, boating from canoes to jet boats, camping and cliff jumping on Bluberry island, soap pond, bingo in West Guilford, bears at the dump, hitch hiking with Burt on the Grader,trip to California …………….I have known Jamie for 41 years. We were fortunate to be transferred for 3 years to the Bolton area and become neighbors again and reconnect with Jamie, Kyle and Blake. You will be missed.
Great memories.

Jamie loved spending time with his whole family. He also loved the movie “Gold Member”. He told me of a Christmas dinner at his house when , in response to an issue, every person at the dinner table replied with a hearty “Ya Ya!” all simultaneously nodding their heads. He is surely leading comedy night upstairs.

Jimmie and myself along with Tim White were very close when we were in Kitchener. We have always kept in touch over the years. Jamie attended my wedding in 1999, it was such an honour for him to be there. James will be truly missed by myself and our family.
