Jackie, in her 70^th year, died peacefully surrounded by her loved ones, early Saturday, April 18, 2009.  After a short battle with cancer, a sudden incident in her illness took her faster than we had imagined and hoped.  Loving wife of Lorne King for 47 years, beloved mother to Kathy Eden, and Kelley and Geoff Potter, proud and adoring grandmother of Tasha and Jordyn Potter, survived by brother James McAvoy , British Columbia.  Although the time passed too quickly, we are grateful to have had her in our lives.  Many thanks to all of the health professionals who have helped her in these past few months and especially to the friends and family who called and dropped by; all of you helped make her last few months full of love and laughter.  Jackie’s quick wit and wicked sense of humour will be missed by all and forgotten by none!  The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Monday afternoon 2-4 and evening 7-9 o’clock.  Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday, April 21 at 2:30 o’clock.  Private interment Laurel Hill Cemetery, Bolton.  If desired, to celebrate her lifelong love of reading, donations may be made to the Friends of Caledon Public Library.  Condolences for the family may be offered at www.eganfuneralhome.com
