Peacefully, surrounded by his family, at Headwaters Health Care Centre, Orangeville on Monday, February 5, 2018, J. Ross Gillanders, Orangeville, in his 86th year, beloved husband of Carol. Loving father of John and Heather, Leslie and Trevor, David and Christine. Cherished grandfather of Corwinn, Kenya, Sheridyn, Rekha, Alison, Emmet and Nathaniel. Dear brother of the late Jean and Dr. William Richards.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Friday evening 5 – 8 o’clock.
Memorial service will be held in Christ Church Anglican, 22 Nancy Street, Bolton on Saturday, February 10 at 2 o’clock.

So sorry for your loss. He was indeed a very good man, and I remember him as PROBUS President. Always happy and friendly to everyone.

Carol, I am so sorry for your loss. I am thinking of you dearly while out here in London. I pass your old London home everyday on my way to school and I will forever remember Ross! He was such an amazing and positive soul. I appreciate all he did for me to keep me at Montgomery with his beautiful letter and petition that was sent to head office. Very sadly we will not be able to attend either the visitation or the service tomorrow as we are away on a long ago planned mini holiday in California this weekend.
