Peacefully in her sleep, at Strathaven Nursing Home, Bowmanville, on Wednesday, September 9, 2015, Isabel Hickland (nee Finnerty), in her 99^th year, formerly of 16367 The Gore Road, Caledon East and Bethsaida Retirement Home, Orangeville, beloved wife of the late Nelson Hickland (February 2, 1987). Eldest daughter of the late Simon Edward Finnerty and Agnes Genereaux. She is survived by her brother Gerald “Jerry” Finnerty of Gualala, California; her god-daughter Laura MacLennan, her nephews Michael, Patrick, and William Finnerty. Predeceased by her brother Edward Finnerty Jr., sister Teresa Finnerty, and nephew Peter Finnerty. She will be also sadly missed by her many great nieces and nephews.

The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50) Bolton (905-857-2213) Thursday evening 7 – 9 o’clock.

Funeral Mass will be held in St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 16066 The Gore Road, Caledon East on Friday morning, September 18 at 11 o’clock.

Interment St. John’s Cemetery.
