Founder of Don Black Electric, Orangeville

Peacefully, with his family at his side, at Headwaters Health Care Centre, Orangeville, on Tuesday, February 1, 2011, Don Black, in his 85th year, beloved husband of the late Ona Lucas. Loving father of Tim, Randy (deceased 1966), Pete, Dan, Dave and his wife Pat, Marty and her husband Gerry Vert. Dear step-father of Rick Allen, his partner Marilyn and Judy Allen. Cherished grandfather of Scott, Sarah, Caitlyn, Lisa, Shauna, Kevin, Michael and Adam. Survived by his brothers and sister Keith, Ruth, Ed, Stan, Ken and predeceased by Earl, Dorothy, Bessie and Daisy. The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home Baxter & Giles Chapel, 273 Broadway, Orangeville (519-941-2630) on Thursday evening 7 – 9 o’clock and Friday afternoon 2 – 4 and evening 7 – 9 o’clock. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday morning, February 5 at 11 o’clock. Spring interment Greenwood Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Dufferin Branch, P.O. Box 296, Orangeville L9W 2Z7. Condolences for the family may be offered at www.EganFuneralHome.com
