Mr. Caseley as I called him in his presence, of which I was a lot from 1981 through 1990, was a pillar. He was kind and stoic no matter the mischief Carol and I found. He quietly supported our fun and he served me in a fatherly way that I was unfamiliar with. Yes, I had a dad, and he was great, but ‘Henry ‘ as we affectionately referred to him (in private) was great in a totally different way- and I appreciated that… I still do. Always a gentleman, he was a model for my husband -to-be.- and yes, that came to be:) Thank you Henry for that. Both of these gifts shaped my life. I am so grateful for you. Rest in Peace.

Condolence from Allan Patterson on June 13th, 2022 8:24 pm

Sister and family. Henry was most at home at his cottage. He enjoyed a good hearty breakfast.
Enjoyed a beer on the deck after supper. We feel he most enjoyed a drive out into the country topped off with a Kawaratha icecream. Cutting the grass and auction sales were his hobbies.
Henry enjoyed a Mediterranean cruise with Adele and the Pattersons in 2009. RIP
Lights out Beamish. Brother

Uncle Henry was man who will live fondly in so many of our memories. He was always pleased to welcome everyone to join his company, quick to laugh at a good joke, and a persistent (if not always successful) fisherman. I am blessed to have had him in my life, we all are.

Aunt Del, Carol, Tim, Tyler, and Megan; my thoughts are with you. I hope you can find comfort in your love for each other and from those around you.

Condolence from Glenn Duncan on June 14th, 2022 7:36 am

Henry was my fishing buddy for several years. He was a determined fisherman but he had the worst luck when it came to catching fish. Although we rarely, if ever, caught any fish, we enjoyed a lot of time together out on the lake talking and enjoying the sunshine (and the occasional beer that Henry had stashed on the boat). I used to love his Superior Propane stories.
He was a great guy and he will be missed.
My condolences.

Aunt Del, Carol(Carlie) your dad called you for the first 5 years of your life)
Tim, Tyler and Megan

We all have many great memories of Uncle Henry many from the road trips we all went on in Ontario and Florida – some how Henry became the driver – and he didn’t seem to mind. Uncle Henry was always up for anything during our teen years at the cottage – bonfire down by the lake – water skiing for hours on end or escorting us the the Ballpoint cottagers get together. He was the only one that came with sister Jo-Ann and I when we said Charlie Pride is in the hotel bar (Florida) and we sat and listen to a free concert and talked with Charlie Pride – for anyone born after 1980 Charlie was bigger than Beiber at that time!! I remember Uncle Henry had a unique palette- he enjoyed a good onion sandwich as much as he enjoyed a homemade raisin pie. You could get him laughing at the silliest stories and he would intently listen to serious stories with a final comment of “is that right”.
Uncle Henry you will be missed by all of us – our memories of you will live in our hearts forever.
I agree with Uncle Al – lights out – “send Beamish to bed”
Love always
Debbie, Greg, and kids xo
