Condolences for the family of “Helen W. Love”

Condolence from Judy Grant on January 10th, 2011 11:38 pm

My deepest condolences to Helen’s family. Helen drove a school bus for me for many years and was a very valued employee and a most wonderful person.

Condolence from John Grogan on January 11th, 2011 11:09 pm

Ms. Love was the first and only female bus driver that I knew back then. We got to school and home safely…always. Bless her and her family.

Condolence from Kay MacDuffee on January 12th, 2011 3:27 am

Helen was such a part of our family’s ‘growing up’. Her warmhearted laughter, her delightful sense of humour, her wisdom, especially in the world of horse, all contributed to the nurturing of the MacDuffee brood. They loved her, even when she barked the rules of the stable at them. And so did we.

Helen, my dear, you filled a big place in the heart of this family and we will miss you . . . a lot.

Condolence from Willy Feenstra on January 12th, 2011 6:07 pm

I will always remember Helen as a good and thoughtful friend and the great times we had together, riding, skiing or haying. It was Helen who kept us organized and together at the farm with her love and dedication to us all and the animals for over 40 years. It was Helen in her workshop who could fix or create anything and Helen sitting at her computer keeping track of our finances to the last penny. I will miss her greatly. Willy

Condolence from Marilyn [Mighton] Connell on January 12th, 2011 6:44 pm

I was there when Helen bought Rexlee Pines, and was one of the weekend warriors who hammered and banged and mucked out stables. What fun we all had. All those memories. Then there were the get togethers at the farm at Palgrave, and more memories. Thank you Helen for being one of my friends.

Condolence from S Ford on January 12th, 2011 9:43 pm

I am so sorry for your loss. May “the God of all comfort” (2 Corinthians 1:3,4) comfort and soothe your heart. His promises, found in the Holy Scriptures, can offer much hope. It assures us at John 5:28,29 that our loved ones will be remembered and brought back to life in the resurrection. Please allow God’s Word to strengthen you and help you to endure this most difficult time.

I was sorry to hear of Helen’s passing.
I remember her well as a regular customer in our hardware store and as she was out and about the sideroads in her bus.
My sympathies to all those close to her.

Condolence from Pat Flaxman on January 20th, 2011 1:49 am

I was so sorry to hear of Helen’s passing. I had spoken to her on the phone a few years ago and always meant to pay her a visit. I was her first pupil at the West York Riding School – way back in the forties. She was a wonderful teacher and I have such warm memories of learning to ride with her guidance. My warmest condolences to her friends and family.
