I am sorry for your loss. Katelyn shared part of her remarkable story. No doubt, she left a mighty legacy in her wake including her grandchildren and great grandchildren. I have the good fortune of working with Katelyn as a partner in our business.

Helen was a wonderful lady and grandmother to Alex and Emily. She will be missed. So many stories from over the years, especially from the bus driving years.

That was the saddest news i heard about today. Now all three girls of a family that I spent many days with. My very first teen age kiss came from cousin Helen when we played Spin the Bottle. Helen was the fun cousin we all loved. Dianne and I send our deepest sympathy and love to Bob and the family. God Bless all of you
.

Condolence from Kim, Russ, Edward and Shai on July 28th, 2022 9:03 am

To all my cousins and their families, I would extend my sincerest condolences. Aunt Helen was very dear to me. As a young adult, I would periodically drop into their home in Nobleton and I could always count on a warm welcome, a hot cup of tea and maybe even a slice of her (famous) homemade cherry cheesecake.
Our many years of camping together in various Provincial Parks spread throughout southern Ontario will always hold a very special place in my heart.
To see our mothers (Aunt Joan, Grandma and their cousins) sitting around the kitchen table playing Crazy Gin is a fond memory and we as the next generation try to keep that tradition going as we now play crazy gin together and with our children.
I love you all and please find strength in the memories you have supporting one another.

Love Kim

Here I am yet another cousin of Helen’s. Uncle Eddy and Aunt Vera, had 3 wonderful daughters . Now Helen is with her loved ones once again. They were all so good to me in my younger years, and I did lose track for a while as my hubby was in the RCAF and we travelled across Canada, thus losing touch with loved ones. Thankful that through FB, we are now reaching out to each other. Now you younger ones you must carry on and love your families just as your parents loved al of you. Shall miss them all. Uncle Eddy worked with my hubby at Fruehauf Trailers, and sent him after me, We had 54 years before he left. Helen and Bob had an amazing 67 years, not too many get that many years to gather, so Bob you were blessed and I know how much you will miss your dear Helen. Keep in touch please. If you ever get to B.C. please look me up.
