Peacefully at Avalon Care Centre, Orangeville, on Wednesday, March 19, 2014, Hazel Holmes, in her 92nd year, beloved wife of the late James Kennedy and Cecil McKenna. Loving mother of Janet and her husband Ian Willoughby. Cherished grandmother of Allan Bellissimo and his partner Jenny Oostyen, Teresa Bellissimo and her partner Matt Post, Natasha Willoughby and Sam Willoughby. Dear great-grandmother of Alli Berube, and Kyler Post. Predeceased by brothers James Field, Murray Holmes and sister Dora Dane.

The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home Baxter & Giles Chapel, 273 Broadway, Orangeville on Sunday evening from 7 to 9 o’clock. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday morning, March 24 at 11 o’clock. Spring interment Forest Lawn Cemetery, Orangeville. If desired, memorial donations may be made to St. Mark’s Anglican Church, P.O. Box 130, Orangeville L9W 2Z5 or Osteoporosis Canada, 301 -1090 Don Mills, Toronto M3C 3R6. Aunt Hazel was the best thing to come into our Uncle Jim’s life and we are glad they were able to share many happy years together.
