Hazel Irene Harris (nee Marwood) of Tottenham passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Matthews House Hospice, Alliston, on Sunday, April 12, 2020, in her 91st year, wife of the late Osmond Harris. Mother of the late Gloria Harris and the late Brenda Hollern, mother-in-law of Martin Hollern, fondly remembered by her grandchildren Kerry and Alex, Amanda and Darren, Michael and Melissa, and by her great-grandchildren Harper and Owen. Sister of Ronald Marwood, of Bradford and predeceased by her parents Bill and Florence Marwood, sister and brothers, Jean Clarkson, Frances Atkinson, Reta Higgins, George Marwood, Kenneth Marwood, David Marwood and Bruce Marwood.
The family wish to thank the Staff and Volunteers of Matthews House Hospice for their unending care, compassion and friendship during these past four months.
Cremation has taken place.
Memorial donations to Matthews House Hospice, 131 Wellington Street East, Alliston L9R 1G6 would be appreciated.

To All The Family Members
We will miss Hazel. Don & I will have fond memories of our visits with Hazel in the last few weeks while she was at Matthews House. Then when visits were no longer possible because of coronavirus, we still managed to connect by telephone. We have known Hazel & Ozzie for many years while at Nobleton.

We remember Hazel’s wonderful smile and her cheerful greetings whenever we saw her. She was a faithful member of Nobleton United Church for many years. I used to deliver the church’s newsletter to her and we always had a good chat. She came down to Nobleton to enjoy the Victoria Day parade after she moved away. We had a hug together at that time. So sorry to hear this news.
A beautiful lady in so many ways .
We will cherish the time we spent with her and always remember her beautiful smile. We used to always enjoy our talks and mostly her company. Rest In Peace sweet Hazel , another beautiful angel in heaven watching over her most loved family.

On behalf of the family of the late Raymond Huycke, I would like to offer condolences to Hazel’s family on her passing . Hazel and Ossie spent some wonderful times together with our dad who really valued their friendship. In days gone by, they had lots of fun together and many stories to tell.
