“Mrs. Young” taught me in Grade One and also taught me how to crochet. She is a woman I have never forgotten, and never will. She was an extremely wonderful person, both in and out of the classroom. I cannot say enough about what a wonderful person she was. Rest In Peace Mrs. Young!!!

My sincere condolences to the family of Hazel.

Hazel (Mrs. Young) was my Grade 1 teacher at Princess Elizabeth PS. I was certainly blessed to have had such a wonderful educator so early in my life. She was one special lady! I thought of her often and thanked her silently for shaping my life.

She will certainly be missed.

What a wonderful person and wonderful teacher. She left such great memories behind in so many many students who are now all adults themselves. I never met Hazel without a smile on her face and never met a student that did not like her.
