so sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. We played cards together in Tottenham. She was one of the most sweetest ladies I have ever known. Always smiling and loved everyone not a bad thing to say about anyone. She always remembered me as I had the same name as her daughter. We will all miss her at the euchre games in Tottenham. I am very sad now as I was always looking for her to play cards with she was a great card player. What a wonderful lady!

im not sure if you guys know me or not I am her neighbours grand daughter my name is jenna and gwen was like a grandma to me as a matter of fact I used to call her my grandma and I still do, I loved her so much and I will miss her greatly my entire family was so happy we got to have her in our lives. I loved all the slippers she made me as well and there are so comfy 🙂 me and my family would just like to say our condolences and she will never be forgotten

I cannot explain the sadness I feel from the loss of your mom and such a dear person in all ways. She always spoke so kindly tp me and we had some great laughs at euchre. You can be very proud to have had her for 99 years but we still want more. My mom was 97 and I know how proud I was of her. May Gwen rest in peace.

Please accept my condolences for you and your family in the passing of Gwen. I played many a game of Euchre with Gwen as a partner and just as many as her opponent in progressive Euchre. With her sharpness and quick wit she kept everyone on their toes. A lovely person who will be missed by me, and many others. God bless.

I have known Gwen for at least 10 years. We met in Nobleton at Euchre. She was a keen player and I loved playing with her but not against her as she had a way of usually winning. She would always save me a seat at her table. I recently had knee surgery and bless her heart, she would call me every second day to enquire as to how I was doing. She made me slippers to take to the hospital – I will forever treasure them. I and everyone else that had the joy of meeting your dear Mom will forever miss her. God Bless, she will be forever remembered.

I was saddened to read of your Mother’s death. Many memories went through my mind. Being with you after school in the apartment and your Mom running up the long stairs in her high heels. So sorry to hear of her passing. Although we did not know her well, we shared the same hair-dresser and also our son will always remember her for the KNITTED SLIPPERS she made for him. They help to keep him warm in his basement apartment.

We have so many happy memories of her as we were neighbors for a long time. We really missed her when she moved to Bolton.
I know how hard it will be to move on without her.
Shannon really missed them also when they moved.
