Peacefully, on Tuesday, August 21, 2018, Gunther Wild of Caledon East, in his 92nd year, beloved husband of the late Helen Wild. Loving father and father-in-law of Sigrid and Karl, Wolfgang and Evelyn, Ingrid and Andrew. Cherished grandfather of Erik, Kristopher, Madeline, and step-grandfather of Brandon, Mathew, and Zachary.
A memorial service will at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) on Wednesday, August 29 at one o’clock.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to Procyon Wildlife, 6441 7th Line, Beeton L0G 1A0 or Haven of the Heart, 1219 Concession Road 3, Palgrave L0N 1P0.

All my sympathies for your loss. I have met Gunter both in Canada and here in South Africa and we have corresponded many years. He was a great fighter for truth, a man who said NO when the brainwashed were all eager to say YES, because it was easier to accept the lie. May you go in peace for you have done the right thing. I enjoyed conversing by e-mail with Guenter over the last few years. He was a true warrior for truth, and will be missed. My sincerest condolences to this great man’s family and friends. I feel your loss.

We were very sorry to hear of the passing of Gunther. We have many memories of Gunther’s humour and sly smile when he thought we were up to something when we were hanging out at your family home, as teenagers, and he was usually right. Hoping that your memories bring you some comfort during this difficult time.
