Passed peacefully at Huronia District Hospital, Midland, on Monday, December 14, 2009, Greta Sararas, former long-time resident of Avalon, in her 102nd year, beloved wife of the late John R. Reed. Loving mother of Ian Reed and his wife Carrie of Penetanguishene and formerly of Township of Amaranth. Cherished grandmother of Amanda, Sara, Rebecca, and Simon Reed. Dear great-grandmother of Reed Bedard. Fondly remembered by her step-grandchild David Bell. The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home Baxter & Giles Chapel, 273 Broadway, Orangeville (519-941-2630) on Saturday, December 19 from one o’clock until time of the memorial service in the chapel at 2 o’clock. If desired, memorial donations may be made to Southlake Regional Health Centre Foundation, 304 – 615 Davis Drive, Newmarket L3Y 2R2.
