Peacefully, at Headwaters Health Care Centre, Orangeville, on Tuesday, April 21, 2015, Gord Gillespie, in his 75th year, beloved husband of Donna (nee Brett). Loving father of Bill and Samantha, Jim and Susan. Cherished grandfather of Jesse, Jordan, Taylor, Zachary and Nicholas. Dear brother of Ruth and Allan McMaster, Jeanne Platt, Marlyne Gillespie, Mary and Brent Boyle. Predeceased by his parents Fred and Lois Gillespie, step-mother Blanche Gillespie, sister Grace Lucas and brothers-in-law Elmer Lucas and Jim Platt.
A memorial visitation to celebrate Gord’s life will be held at the Egan Funeral Home Baxter & Giles Chapel, 273 Broadway, Orangeville (519-941-2630) on Sunday afternoon, April 26 from 3 to 5 o’clock. Dear Donna and family. I was very sorry to hear of Gord’s passing. During our support group meetings I always enjoyed speaking with Gord – he was very supportive of our group and we will miss his presence. Wishing you all the best.
