With heavy hearts we say goodbye to my husband, our dad, grandfather and great-grandfather, Gordon David Oliver, who passed away at Headwaters Health Care Centre, Orangeville, on Friday, August 29, 2014, in his 87th year. Loving husband of Roberta for 66 years. Loving father of Susan Ford, and Peter Oliver (Lisa). Cherished grandfather of Deborah and Christopher Ford; Amanda, Jessica and Robert Oliver. Dear great-grandfather of Brooklyn Oliver. Loved son of the late Charles David and Jean Oliver. Dear son-in-law of the late Robert and Elizabeth Barclay. Forever in our hearts.
The family will receive their friends at Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) on Friday morning, September 5 from 10 o’clock until time of memorial service in the chapel at 11 o`clock.
Celebration of life to be held at a later date.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Roberta… So sorry to hear about your loss. I always enjoyed our visits with Gordon. He had a good sense of humour and a twinkle in his eye. He was a kind gentle man. I hope your many pleasant memories help you through this difficult time.
