Gordy…I’ve always been impressed with your deep respect for women in general and your dedication to your wife in particular. While I’ve spent more time with you here in Florida playing golf than I have spent talking with Gloria, it was always evident that she was your soul mate. Condolence from Mart Rosenberg on May 25th, 2020 9:19 pm

My sincerest condolences to you, Gord, and all of your family on the recent loss of your wife of 57 years. I happened to see the name “Chiarot” in the Toronto Star obituaries and how many “Chiarots” could there be? I know it is a very difficult time for you now and with the challenging times of the COVID-19, but as they say, time heals and you have your ‘kids’ and grandkids for support. That is a long time, 57 years, and the two of you had to be the perfect match! And to be living at Cumberland Beach, second best place to Florida! Right? Chiarots & Cuneo’s must have taken over Cumberland Beach by now! I think you may still remember me, the lumber salesman that never sold you any lumber! I’m still trying to sell lumber & trusses, even though I should be retired! Sincerely, Mart Rosenberg
