Peacefully at Headwaters Health Care Centre, Orangeville, on Saturday, May 2, 2009, Gladys Shewring, in her 85th year. Cherished mother of Ed Knox and his wife Carol (deceased), Cookstown; Suzanne and her husband Louis Boileau, Orangeville; Carol Sampson, Hartford, Connecticut; Jennifer and her husband Ray Clarke, Mississauga. Dear grandmother of Christopher, Heather, Eden, April and great-grandmother of Emma, Lily and predeceased by Preston. Dear sister of Ed and Bobby. Predeceased by sisters Jenny, Joann and Daisy. Dear friend of Ramsay McLean. The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home Baxter & Giles Chapel, 273 Broadway, Orangeville (519-941-2630) Monday evening, May 4 from 6 o’clock until time of service in the chapel at 7:30 o’clock. Followed by cremation. If desired, memorial donations may be made to Headwaters Health Care Foundation, 100 Rolling Hills Drive, Orangeville L9W 4X9.
