Peacefully at Avalon Retirement Centre on Tuesday June 26, 2012, Gladys Haiste, in her 92nd year, beloved wife of the late Donald C. Hughson (1980). Predeceased by her sisters Clara Moser and Irene Cumpstone and her brothers Sidney, Herbert and Roy Haiste. She will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and their families.

The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home Baxter & Giles Chapel, 273 Broadway, Orangeville (519-941-2630) on Saturday morning, June 30th from 10 o’clock until time of service in the chapel at 11 o’clock. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice. Condolences for the family may be offered at www.EganFuneralHome.com

We will miss Aunt Gladys so very much. She was a joy to be with and her visits each Christmas were a lot of fun; dear god, her exquisite baking could end wars. Gladys had a full life as did Don, an uncle I continue to miss; but not their dog, who hated everybody but them.
