Condolence from Tina Filosa and Curtiss Power on February 29th, 2016 6:37 pm

Curtiss and I want to extend our deepest condolences to the Filosa family in their time of loss. We feel that Joe lived his life on his terms, not society’s. He danced to a different drummer. How many of us can say the same? His life certainly had its ups and downs, but somehow he managed to come out of it. He will always be remembered as a very good person and honest and down-to-earth cousin who was always full of life. God bless him.

His beloved cousin Tina Filosa and partner Curtiss Power

To my uncle Joe Aunt Angela…my cousin Lina, John Savio and family…my cousin Lisa, Frank Giglio and family…I send you my deepest and sincere condolences on the passing of our dear loved one Joe…my cousin and always older brother I never had. Although the loss is painful I feel blessed to have another Angel of God watching over me above, and I know he will be watching over all of you as well. May God ease the pain of this loss with every day moving forward and grant all of you the strength to over come this loss…Remember Joe may not be physically here…but in spirit lives in all of us that had the pleasure to know and love him for his short journey on this earth…his passing is attributed to the fact that he is much needed to work in Gods gardens with his amazing strength and wisdom that all that knew him had the pleasure to experience… A note I found fitting<> My eyes filled up with tears as I heard the news..It never occurred to me, how much I could lose..I find myself wishing that it wasn’t real..Every time I think about it, pain is all I can feel..Tears fall from my eyes, I can barely see..I’m glad he feels no pain now-he lives in a perfect land..
I can still feel the soft touch on my shoulder of his loving hand..
I lie in bed and cry at night..And I don’t feel any better in the morning light..And I will love and miss him forever..Until the day we are again together.Together in that perfect place above,Filled with caring, sharing and love
But until that day comes- I will wipe my tears away.
And hopefully see him again someday…… 🙂

Zia Angelina, Zio Joe, Lina & John Savio & Family, Lisa & Frank Giglio & Family …we would like to send you all our deepest condolences for our beloved cousin Joe!

Although his time with us was short, he definitely made an impression on everyone he met! I can truly say that he had one of the kindest and sincere hearts. Anytime he saw me he would always without fail call me beautiful…and I truly felt his love.

He was also a man with many experiences and stories to tell…you could seriously make a movie about his life. He was indestructible! So strong & funny to the very end! Even in his last days he still managed to make you laugh.

Joe, we will miss you here on earth…and definitely miss all of your funny/crazy voicemail messages that you would leave for my brother and dad…but your voice will be remembered and I know that you will be watching over everyone that you loved dearly!!

Xoxo
