Peacefully at Brampton Civic Hospital on Monday, July 20, 2020, Gilda Sperduti, in her 86th year, beloved wife of the late Tonino Sperduti. Loving mother of Angelo and his wife Cathy Sperduti, Bolton, and the late Giorgio Sperduti. Cherished Nonna of Anthony and Meghan, Daniel and Sarah, and Christopher. Proud Great-Nonna of Elizabeth. Dear sister of Assunta and Giulio Puglielli and predeceased by Elmiro Martino.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Wagman and the ICU staff at Brampton Civic Hospital for their care and compassion. Thanks to Egan Funeral Home for their kindness.
Due to the global pandemic, private family service will be held in the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) on Thursday, July 23.
Masks/face coverings are mandatory for all attendees and please no gathering in the parking lot at any time.
Entombment Westminster Cemetery, 5830 Bathurst Street, North York.
Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Nancy and I send our condolences to the Sperduti family. Gilda was a wonderful woman and an amazing cook. Every September Angelo would make wine and Gilda would prepare lunch for the boys, Angelo and I. I’m glad I was there and always looked forward to her culinary expertise . Gilda and I would chat afterwords making sure my family and daughter were okay. I will miss her. Rest in Peace Gilda.

Our hearts are broken for all of you as we hear of the loss of your dear mom Angelo.

Angelo and Family. Our family extends heartfelt condolences. Both Gilda and your late father Tony were great friends and we cherish the many years that they were in our lives. I will miss the telephone conversations with Gilda. I will always remember her kindness and telling it like it is… Thank you GIlda for being a great friend… Will always think of you as family….
