Dear Marion, Paul, June and Family.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Gerry. He was always a big part of my life, serving as a Sunday School Teacher, a leader in the Church T.Y.R.O., Boy Scout Master and working together in the last Village of Caledon East Council with Gerry being Reeve. The Town of Caledon has lost one of its Greatest Citizens.

Our sincerest condolences to you on the loss of a kind, caring, thoughtful gentleman – husband, father and grandfather.
l have only heard from residents of Caledon East what a great Reeve Gerald was during his term of office for the former village of Caledon East but…. I CAN testify that he was an exemplary member of the Land Division and Committee of Adjustment committee during the years he served, when I was Secretary.
He was always honest and made sound decisions. He was a good listener and had a great sense of humour. I shall never forget his infectious laugh!
He has left a hole in this community he served so well over the years and will always be remembered.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Gerry. I worked with Gerry on the Committee of Adjustment for a number of years and appreciated his sense of humor, hard dedication and his stories. He will be sadly missed.

He seems to have led a well-rounded life. I did not have the pleasure of meeting him but I am sure that he could tell wonderful stories of growing up in Caledon East.
