Passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 29, 2024, at Bridgepoint Hospital, Toronto, Georgina Mary Gilbert, at the age of 89 years. Beloved wife of the late Ronald Gilbert. Loving mother of Ronald Gilbert, Douglas Gilbert, Donna and her husband Andrew Moszynski. Cherished grandmother of Joelle, Samantha, Spencer, Adam, Zachary, and Kelly. Devoted great-grandmother of Greyson. Loving sister of Earlene Fletcher, Gail and her husband Richard Garas, and predeceased by Harry Peacock, Carol Thomson, and Glenda Pillo. Fondly remembered by brother-in-law Anthony Pillo.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Wednesday morning, October 9 from 10 o’clock until time of funeral service in the chapel at 11 o’clock.
Followed by cremation.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Breast Cancer Canada or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated.

My deepest condolences to the family
Georgina was my “Rama” bus buddy. I always laughed at how quickly she would rush through lunch, in order to get back to the slots as quickly as she could. Lunch was an inconvenient stop that cut into her gambling time. I’m going to miss her and those trips. I’ll have a Mimosa for you. Rest in Peace Georgina.
