Veteran of World War II
George died peacefully in his sleep in the Veterans’ Wing of the Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Rejeanne; his oldest son, George; his grandson, David and his twin brother Jim. He leaves to mourn him his three remaining children Marion (Dave), Joanne (Steve), Bruce (Pam); his younger brother Mervin (Marion), his grandchildren Danny, Monique, Cindy, Holly, and Jaclyn, as well as great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Graveside service will be held on Monday, January 30 at 2 o’clock at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Bolton.

As a child of holocaust survivors I thank u for your service ! Without brave souls like mr Hilliard I would not be here ! We will never forget !
My deepest sympathies go out to you and your family. May God give you the comfort and peace that you seek and may the soul of your loved one rest in peace.
From the Burford clan our heartfelt sympathy in the loss of your father, and brother of Mervin.
I did not know him well, but twin brother Jim was our dear Uncle and brother-in-law to Mary Burford.
