Kathy: It has been many years since I last saw Brent or you. But I felt I should pass along thoughts and wishes to you and your family. I recall through Dave many occassions involving Brent at their home, at the ball park even on the golf course all bringing a smile to my face. And thoughts of you playing ball with my mom again… all pleasent memories. On behalf of my family I send you our love and deepest condolences.

Condolence from Kathleen Cobb on September 11th, 2010 11:43 pm

Twilight and evening bell,
And after that the dark!
And may there be no sadness of farewell,
When I embark;

For though from out our bourne of Time and Place
The flood may bear me far,
I hope to see my Pilot face to face
When I have crossed the bar.

from “Crossing the Bar” Alfred Lord Tennyson
One of my mother’s favourite poems.
