Peacefully, surrounded by her family, at Bethell Hospice, Inglewood, on Thursday, August 25, 2022, Freda Ellis, at the age of 95 years, beloved wife of the late Russell Craig. Loving mother of Ken Craig, Bob and Jane Craig, Doug and Janine Craig, Debbie and John Thompson. Cherished grandmother of Robb (Lisa), Ryan (Jody), Andrew (Kathy), Josh (Kelly), Joel (Samantha), Philip (Katie), Kevin (Amanda) and Jessica (Kyle). Proud great-grandmother of Brianna, Rhyse, Sophie, Chloe, William, Hudson, Augie, Sutton, Isabelle, and Hunter. Dear sister of the late Keith Ellis.
Graveside service will be held in Providence Cemetery, Innis Lake Road, Caledon East on Tuesday, September 6 at 1:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Bethell Hospice, 15835 McLaughlin Road, Inglewood L7C 1H4, would be appreciated by the family.

When I read that you recently lost your Mom at age 95 , I was reminded of loosing mine at 89 and 94 and all the things in their long life that they witnessed.
May the fond memories of the past carry you through these stressful moments.

Debbie: It’s been way too long, but some things never change, like checking out your childhood home on King as we drive past, even though a new family is there now. Please accept my condolences on your mom’s passing, a life well lived at 94 years young.

To the Craig family. my condolences. My memory of your mother was from public school. There was a draw for a quilt and I was the one who announced your mother’s name. We were taught back then that it was Mr. or Mrs. and it seemed out of place to use her given name. Ken & Bob may remember that day. Good old S.S. # 4 Albion. It is funny how we remember different things as we age. Again, I’m sorry for your loss.
