Peacefully at Riverwood Retirement Home, Alliston, on Wednesday, August 12, 2009, Florence Olive Ackroyd, in her 95th year, beloved wife of the late John Henry Ackroyd. Loving mother of Howard and his wife Joan, Caledon East; Wayne and his wife Pamela, Parry Sound; Bruce and his wife Suzanne, Loretto. Devoted grandmother of Glen, Gordon, Angela, Larry, Terry, Brian, Jennifer, Janis and Gregory. Cherished great-grandmother of Asia, Devin, Elysia, Julia, Tyhannah, Jeanelle, Rachel and Kendra. Dear sister of the late James, Samuel and Howard Rock. The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Friday morning, August 14 from 10 o’clock until time of funeral service in the chapel at 11 o’clock. Interment Providence Cemetery, Caledon East.
