Felice was the living example of the HEART of Bolton. He was a proud man who truly loved his family and his community. May he rest in peace. My deepest condolences to the Colavita family. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.

These days my heart has been very heavy. Family doesn’t always mean a blood connection. Since I was six years old Felice has been in my life. He and Filomena gave birth to the sister I never had, Maricarmen
Through the years I was always accepted into their home. I even helped to make Christmas baskets for Felice’s business and ate their amazing Sunday night pizzas together with the family. I followed this family from Malton to Bolton. My children, so lucky, grew up with a third set of grandparents. Neighbours with a safe place to go. Birthdays and holidays will never be the same without Felice’s quick wit, smiling face and request for the young generation to join the Bolton Italian Cultural Center and play bocce. That was very near and dear to his heart. “Papà” I know you will always be here for us. Watching over us and you can still take a walk in the park with me in spirit as long as you wear your hat and suspenders. Rest in eternal peace. God needed you up there. I hope you are around the table with your brothers enjoying the vino. – MariaGrazia
