Ethel Lenore Early (nee Vollick)

Peacefully, on Saturday, November 16, 2013, after a lengthy illness, Ethel Early, in her 83rd year, beloved wife of the late John Early. Dear mother of Beth and her husband Bill Rea and Paul and his wife Michelle. Loving grandmother of Jacob and Jenna Early. Survived by sisters Faith (Larry Hare) and Ruth Reeves, brother Ken (Helene), sister-in-law Betty Vollick, brother-in-law Jim Early (Viola) and sister-in-law Sarah Riley. Predeceased by sister Grace (Bern Hilts), and brother Jack. Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to express their appreciation for the very compassionate care Ethel received during her time at King Nursing Home.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Thursday afternoon 2-4 and evening 7-9 o’clock and on Friday, November 22 from one o’clock until time of funeral service in the chapel at 2 o’clock.
Interment Laurel Hill Cemetery, Bolton
If desired, memorial donations may be made to Caledon Meals on Wheels, 80 Allan Drive, Bolton L7E 1P7; Caledon Community Services, 18 King Street East, Bolton, L7E 1E8 or Salem United Church, 13595 Torbram Road, Caledon East, L7C 2T7.

I have many fond memories of Aunt Ethel from my childhood memories. She was always very kind towards myself and my brothers.

On behalf of the Hedleys our sincerest condolences. Ethel was my Dad’s first cousin and often stopped by our store in Canfield. She was very kind,soft spoken and always smiling. I know your family will miss her.

Beth, so sorry to hear about your mother, please except my heartfelt condolences to you and your family. One thing that can never be taken from us is our memories, which I am sure you have lots of beautiful ones of which you can take great solace in.
