I have lived in Kleinburg since 1976 so I knew Ethel very well. When my son was very young, I attended Kleinburg United Church and knew her there. She also used to come around canvassing for good charities. It spurred me to do a bit more of that myself. I have seen her at the Kline House and also at the Bindertwine Festival. She was always smiling and never had a bad word to say about anyone. I will miss seeing her in her house on Lester Pearson Ave. We will miss her enthusiasm and drive!
Heather and Family,
“Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.”
As you grieve, know that we are remembering you and honoring the memory of your wonderful mother. May the love of family and friends carry you through this difficult time.
I know my mother will be missing her friend and fondly remembering the many adventures they shared. I am sad that we did not have the chance to make it over for a visit.

We are so saddened to hear of Ethel’s passing. She blessed the Caven Church family with her sweet, quiet spirit and service and I much enjoyed luncheons in Bolton with her from time to time. Our thoughts and prayers are with Heather, Josh and family.

Heather, Josh and family,
I was saddened to hear of Ethel’s passing. She was a dear lady and a most valued contributing member of our Caven ladies Fellowship. She worked tirelessly baking for various church functions and cheerfully helped in the kitchen when needed. Sadly I will be out of town and unable to share in the celebration of her life but my hope and prayer for you is that your faith journey will sustain you in this sad and difficult time.
Heather, Josh and family

To Ethel’s daughter Heather, grandson Josh and family, we wish our most sincere condolences on Ethel’s passing.
When we lose a loved one here on earth, we gain an angel in heaven that watches over us. May you take comfort in knowing that you have an angel to watch over you now. We extend our most sincere condolences to all of you.

Sincere condolences Heather and Josh. Kleinburg has been fortunate to have had Ethel overseeing the affairs of Kline House right up to her recent health difficulties. She has been a good neighbour and the eyes on the street. I’ll not soon forget Heather pulling Ethel on the sled to our place to warm up during THE ice storm. Cherish the memories of good things past.
