In Loving Memory
Our beloved mother and grandmother, Elvira Filomena DeBartolo, passed peacefully at Toronto Western Hospital, surrounded by her family on July 20, 2019, at the age of 89.
Elvira Filomena DeBartolo, beloved wife of the late Rocco DeBartolo. Loving mother of Carmela and her husband Pino Godino, John and his wife Anna DeBartolo. Nonna of Lidio and his wife Joanna, Paul and his wife Sandra, Rocco and Anthony. Proud Nonna Ma of Sophia, Gabriella, Joseph, Olivia, Christopher and Michaela. Dear sister of Adolfo and Teresa Cosentino and predeceased by Giovanni, Emilio, Francesco, Yolanda, Giulia, Ida and Ippolito.
Elvira will be dearly missed by all who knew her, both in Canada and Italy.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) on Monday, July 22nd afternoon from 2 – 4 p.m. and evening 6 – 9 p.m.
Funeral Mass will be held in St. Patrick’s Church, 11873 The Gore Road, Brampton on Tuesday afternoon, July 23 at 1:00 p.m. (leaving funeral home at 12:30 p.m.).
Entombment Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 7300 Hwy. 27, Woodridge.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to Shining Through Centre for Children with Autism, 7365 Martin Grove Road, Woodbridge L4L 9E4.

Our dear Elvira has left us to rejoin her beloved husband Rocco and to return to her Creator. I and other volunteers from St.Patrick Church had the privilege and the pleasure of spending prayerful and memorable time with her. She greeted us always with good cheer and an unforgettable smile . She left us with a legacy of her deep faith and a very her profound love of Jesus and the Church. I will remember her for how she expressed such love for her family and how proud she was of you all. She touched me deeply by her example and enriched my life. I am grateful for having had the opportunity to befriend her and I will miss her very much. Carmela I offer you and your entire family, my deepest heartfelt condolences. May the love, faith and memories you shared sustain and bring you comfort in this time of mourning.

I knew Elvira for a short time..she was a wonderful happy lady..so happy to talk and show me pictures of her husband Rocco..she loved him so. Now she is with him in eternity. Thoughts and prayers to her family. Suzie McQueen

Elvira was always a pleasure to be with who always held our interest with her great stories and jokes. Always cheerful. Not sure who looked forward to the visits more, her or us. She will b dearly missed.
