Peacefully at Avalon Retirement Centre, Orangeville, on Tuesday, December 1, 2015, Elizabeth De Bruin, in her 87th year, beloved wife of Lajos (Louis) Simo. Loving mother of Marika and her husband Terry Grech, Frank and his wife Jackie Simo, Hanny Simo, and Richard Simo. Cherished grandmother of 10 grandchildren.

The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home Baxter & Giles Chapel, 273 Broadway, Orangeville (519-941-2630) on Saturday afternoon, December 5 from 2 o’clock until time of memorial service in the chapel at 3 o’clock. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Ontario SPCA – Orangeville & District Animal Centre, 650 Riddell Road, Orangeville L9W 5G5. Dear Mr Simo & Marika (Terry), Frank (Jackie), Hanny & Richard, I am so sorry for the loss of your lovely wife and mother. Elizabeth was a beautiful person, she cared so deeply for her family. She was a very strong women who would always help anyone or anything and lived life to the fullest. I will always remember her kindness and of course her smile. I only wish I was there to celebrate her life with all of you. Take care & God Bless.

We are deeply sorry for your loss. My memories of Mrs Simo go back many years to when Marika and I were just kids. She was always welcoming and made me feel at home. Our sincerest condolences. I know she will be missed.
