Knowles, Eleanor (Principal, Peel Board of Education)
Peacefully in her sleep, after a long illness, on Sunday, March 29, 2009, Eleanor Bradfield, beloved wife of the late John Tyner Knowles. Dear twin sister of Georgina Plant. Loving aunt of John and his wife Trish Plant, Sheelagh Rennie, Shauna and her husband Michael Holloway. Will be sadly missed by great nieces and nephews Evelyn, Matthew, Daniel, Kathleen, and Sophie. The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Wednesday afternoon 2-4 and evening 7-9 o’clock. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, April 2 at 11 o’clock. Following a reception at the funeral home, interment will be in the family plot, Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Toronto. If desired, memorial donations may be made to Canadian National Institute for the Blind, 1929 Bayview Avenue, Toronto, Ontario, M4G 3E8.
