Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, at Headwaters Health Care Centre, Orangeville, on Friday, April 30, 2010, Edwin Welwood, in his 90th year, beloved husband of Lola Marler. Loving father of Doug Welwood and his wife Sue Kaiser, Garry Welwood and his wife Carol Cooper. Cherished grandfather of Brandon and Amanda, Tyler, Kayla, and Madison.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home Baxter & Giles Chapel, 273 Broadway, Orangeville (519-941-2630) on Wednesday, May 5 from 1:30 p.m. until time of funeral service in the chapel at 2:30 p.m. Interment Burns Cemetery, Mono Centre. While working in our Kitchener Claims Office I had the good fortune of dealing with Ed from time to time. He really cared about his clients and treated everyone with respect. Very sorry to hear of his passing.
Very sorry to hear about the passing of your father Garry. Sounds like he had a good long life and hopefully that will give you some comfort in the coming days. Our thoughts are with you and your family.
