Dorothy Walters passed away gently and quietly on Thursday, May 4, 2017, at the age of 88, after a short battle with cancer. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Dorothy was surrounded in return by the love of her family. Predeceased by her husband and sweetheart Stanley Walters, married in 1948 and vows renewed with love in 1998. Loving Mother of Lillian (Martin), Margaret (Vic), Charles (Nancy), Carol (Ulli), and Sandra (Barry). Grandmother of Kristen (Rocky), Christa (Dennis), Brad (Gina), Christopher (Christine), Nick (Jenn), Todd (Sarah), Chad (Megan), Jeffrey, Justin (Nelin), Lloyd, and Ethan. Loving Great-Grandmother of Bradley, Brittany (Noah), Myles, Ella Rose, Caleb, Alilya, Aiden, Declan, Kayleigh, Cora, Adalynn, and Aria. Step-Grand and Step-Great Grandmother to many more. Beloved sister-in-law to Ernest Walters (Norma). All branches of her loving family were important to Dorothy and her hosting of annual family reunions encouraged that closeness of family to flourish and continue for generations.

The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy 50), Bolton (905 857-2213), Monday afternoon 2 – 4 and evening 6 – 8 o’clock. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday morning, May 9 at 11 o’clock. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Caledon Senior’s Center at Rotary Place, 7 Rotarian Way, Bolton L7E 1Y2. Condolences for the family may be offered at www.eganfuneralhome.com
