At Saugeen Valley Nursing Home, Mount Forest, on Sunday, May 17, 2009, Doris Evelyn Thompson, in her 85th year, beloved wife of the late J.H. Taylor, Malton. Dear mother of Vivian and Pete Nagel, Chatsworth; Jim and Vera Taylor, Caledon East. Loving grandmother of Jodie Morley, Greg and Marcy Nagel; Mike and Ann Taylor, Mark Taylor. Cherished great-grandmother of Colin Morley, Aaron and Carmen Nagel; Chloé Taylor, Jeremy and Joshua Taylor. Dear daughter of the late Art and Gertie Thompson, Tottenham. Dear sister of Muriel Pegg and Elmer Thompson. Dear sister-in-law of Eileen Thompson, Joyce Thompson, Jim and Frieda Taylor, Norm and Lois Taylor. The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Thursday afternoon 2-4 and evening 7-9 o’clock. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday, May 22 at 2 o’clock. Interment Morningside Cemetery, Palgrave. If desired, memorial donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation.
