At Brampton Civic Hospital, on Saturday, February 8, 2014, Donna Matheson, beloved wife of the late Leo Matheson. Loving mother of David, John and Tom. Cherished grandmother of Luke. Dear sister of Jim, Barbara, Sandra and Dan.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Wednesday evening 7 – 9 o’clock. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday morning, February 13, at 11 o’clock. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Woodbridge.

So sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. She was always very supportive of anything with Mimicolacrosse which i very much appreciated.

Tom & John I was so shocked to hear of your Mom’s passing. I will miss not seeing her at the bed beside me three days a week at dialysis. Please remember your Mom with the love and laughter that she so enjoyed. Know that now she has finally found peace from all the medical complications she had. My heart goes out to you and your family at this sad time. May God be with you all.
My heart goes out to John and Tom in this time of great sorrow. Treasure the many great memories that you had with your mom. May she rest in peace. I am sure that Donna is proud of the arrangements you made and the way you are coping with your sadness.

Although I knew she was not well, John & Tom, I was shocked to hear of your mother’s passing. I had a good visit with Donna the last time I was over to Orangeville when I attended HABI’s 4th Birthday celebration at the potluck supper. She always talked of you with pride and warmth of your accomplishments, eager to share the latest things you were doing. It will be difficult to lose someone who has been so supportive and protective of you. May you have the strength of mind and heart to carry on and continue to support one another with loyalty and faith, as she would have wanted. We are thinking of you and wanting the best for you both in the future. When needed, remember you have many friends for support.
