Passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home on Sunday, July 23, 2023. Domenic was born April 27, 1946 in Isola di Liri, Italy to Giuseppe and Luigia D’Orazio.
Domenic moved to France as a young adult. It is in France where he met his wife Ester (Grossi) of Sora Italy. They married in France on October 5, 1968 and spent over a decade immersed in the French culture, working and travelling. Domenic and Ester decided to make their final move to Canada, where Domenic and Ester built their lives together, raising their only son David.
Domenic is survived by his loving wife Ester and son David (Chantelle), and his two special granddaughters Gabriella and Alessia, and his siblings.
He will be lovingly remembered by all of his family and friends.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) on Monday, July 31 from 4 – 8 o’clock, and on Tuesday morning, August 1 from 10 o’clock until the time of funeral service in the chapel of the funeral home at 11 o’clock. Entombment Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Woodbridge.

Our deepest condolences to the D’Orazio family. Compare was a very hard worker, always thinking to provide the best for his family. Remembering all the good times we had together; dinners, day trips, weekend to Sauble with the kids. We will miss him dearly. Riposa in pace.

Dominic was a very quiet and friendly neighbour. He always had a wave and a smile whenever we would see him outside. We will miss seeing him out cutting his lawn or just walking around his property.
Rest in peace Dominic.
My heart hurts with the news of my dearest Patino’s passing. We had so many good memories, too many to name. He was a loving husband and father and always made me feel included and loved in a special way. He will be greatly missed. My deepest condolences to all those grieving this loss.
Until we meet again, I’ll keep the fond memories close.
Le Cugine Clelia, Angela, e nipote Stella mandao le loro sincere condoglianze alla cara cugina Ester, David e famiglia, alle sorelle e fratello vicini e lontano. All his beloved ones, will keep alive his memory and good heart here in Italy as well.
We will remember him together with his brother (nonno) Giovanni born as well in Isola del Liri, were they were used to have some holidays in their birthplace, until few years ago, sharing memories of their childhood and genuinely customes that they have passed on to our families and that we will preserve with love. It was good to see them so close together and happy about the simplest things.
