It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Demetre Koleros who passed away at the age of 80 on Sunday January 23, 2022 at Michael Garron Hospital following a brief illness.

He leaves behind his brother John and Constantine and sister Athansia (Soula) and predeceased by Anna.  Born and raised in Tripoli, Greece, the son of Elias and Georgia Koleros née (Angelakou), he was a lifelong resident of Chicago and Toronto. Proud uncle of 10 nephews and nieces.  He will be remembered as a humble, kind and generous soul who loved his family.

Due to Covid-19 protocols, a private burial has been scheduled for Wednesday January 25th, 2022 at 12 noon – Laurel Hill Cemetery, 389 Centennial Drive, Bolton, Ontario

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada in Demetre’s name would be appreciated.
