Daughter of Laura and the late Earl Fleming, cherished sister of David and Silvya, Douglas and Kara, and Timothy, adored auntie to her nieces and nephews.

Deborah’s life-long love of books and reading that she shared with her students will enhance their lives forever. She loved nature and animals and was an avid environmentalist. She filled our lives with laughter, warmth and countless treasured memories.

A bright and beautiful light has gone from this world but will be remembered in our hearts forever.

Cremation has taken place.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the World Wildlife Fund wwf.ca  or the charity of your choice.

I will forever think of Deb when I pass by a Home Hardware or use a reusable paper towel. Rest in peace old friend.

Deborah (Not Debbie) was my childhood best friend; Sailor Moon, Barbie, 80’s music, love of ALL animals, Girl-guides, birthday parties, Disney, Looney toons, and cartoons on Saturdays and more. I’ve missed her everyday because we lost touch over the years and she remains in my heart now and forever. I speak of you kindly and often to friends.
