Although we lived close to each other, I really got to know Dave when he joined me at the Bolton Volunteer Ambulance Service. For many years, he was one of my favourite partners. He talked about leaving the corporate World and starting his own business. Dave was always community minded, loyal, hard working and respected by everyone. Not one to waste time talking about a job. Dave got right down to work. I always enjoyed talking with him and I have lost a true friend. He will be missed.
